The Board would like to offer this update to all residents. Regarding our pools, California plans to fully re-open on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. So, we are also going to re-open the pools on that date. We still encourage residents to exercise common sense practices such as washing your hands, staying home if you’re sick, and physically distance when possible. The jacuzzi at the small pool is still under repair, but we are working to get that fixed as soon as possible.
The 4th of July is a very popular holiday to enjoy with family. But this is a friendly reminder that BBQ’s are not allowed to be used within the community. We take no pleasure in having to enforce this rule, but we must comply with both the California Fire Code and our fire insurance company.
Unfortunately, we must start issuing notices as some residents have not complied. We are giving all residents 30-days to remove their barbecues from their balcony or patio. We simply cannot afford to jeopardize our fire insurance in any way. This also extends to banning use of any fireworks.
The city of Garden Grove has given notice that they will be increasing patrols to identify violators of the City’s municipal code on fireworks. Using or possessing illegal fireworks, including misusing or tampering with legal ones, carries a hefty fine. For more information, please visit the city’s website at: https://ggcity.org/july-4-safety-tips-regulations.
If you have any questions, please feel to reach out to our property manager, Mark Gardner. He can be reached at 714-508-9070 x227. Or you can contact him via email at MGardner@optimumpm.com.
Thank you, and the Board wishes you a very safe and Happy 4th of July!
