As many residents remember, our complex had brand new asphalt installed in our parking lot area by Ben’s Asphalt. Per their recommendation, we need to apply a “seal coating” to all the new asphalt. Optimum Property Management has already mailed out a letter to all homeowners, but the Board would like to notify all residents of the upcoming dates with this website notification as well as posting on all the mailboxes.
PHASE I (North side of complex):
PHASE 1 – TUESDAY MAY 30, 2017 @ 7:00A.M. – WEDNESDAY MAY 31, 2017 @ 12:00P.M.
PHASE II (South side of complex):
PHASE 2 – TUESDAY JUNE 6, 2017@ 7:00A.M. – WEDNESDAY JUNE 7, 2017 @ 12:00P.M.
The streets will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00 A.M. that morning until 12:00 PM the following day (29 hours). Please have your vehicle moved by 7:00 A.M. that morning to an area that is not going to be sealed on that day.
If your vehicle is not moved outside the closed area by 7:00 A.M., the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
However, if you are not going to use your vehicle during that 29-hour period, then you can park your vehicle in your covered parking space. Keep in mind that it can’t be moved for that full 29-hour period.
If you decide to drive your vehicle on the streets within the association during the 29-hour period of the closure, you will damage the new surface and possibly your vehicle. If this occurs, you will be liable for the cost of the repair to the streets and your vehicle.
